Email notifications
TrackOut emails you when something in your garage needs attention -- an event coming up, maintenance falling due, a receipt finished processing. Every one of those is optional, and you control each kind separately.
Change what you receive
- Open Settings in TrackOut.
- Scroll to Email notifications.
- Turn any switch on or off. Changes save immediately.
Every email also carries an Unsubscribe link in its footer. Using it turns off that one kind and leaves the rest alone -- muting weather forecasts will not mute a service appointment reminder.
Some email cannot be switched off
Sign-in links, password resets, email verification, plan-change receipts, and the reply to a receipt you forwarded are not on these switches. They answer something you just did, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Track day weather forecasts start off -- turn the switch on if you want the week-ahead outlook as well as the day-before reminder.
Track day and event email
Three kinds cover an upcoming event, and they arrive at different moments:
- Weather forecast -- about a week out, once the forecast is meaningful. Includes the temperature, rain chance, wind, and why the day rates the way it does.
- Pre-event readiness check -- a few days out, covering the car rather than the sky: brake pad life, tread depth, fluid age, and inspection status. You get one per event whether or not anything needs attention.
- Track day reminder -- the day before, with the forecast and your event details.

Maintenance email
Maintenance reminders cover both items already overdue and items landing in the next week. Each one lists the car, the item, and when it was due, and links straight to the schedule.
Booked service visits get their own reminder the day before, with the shop, the work, and the mileage at booking.
If you have already handled something, log it in the car's history and the reminder clears itself. See Maintenance tracking and Service schedule.
Receipts you forward
When you forward a receipt to your garage address, TrackOut replies once it has read it -- showing the vendor, date, mileage, line items, and total it extracted, plus how confident it is in that reading.
The receipt is waiting for you to review, not yet filed. Open it from the email, correct anything the extractor got wrong, and save it to the car's history. Corrections improve future extractions.
Check low-confidence reads
Each reply is graded. A high-confidence read is usually right; a low-confidence one flags that the extractor struggled with the document, so check each field before you save.

Getting-started emails
New accounts get a short series over the first two weeks introducing one thing at a time -- forwarding receipts, tracking tire sets, asking Crew Chief, importing history you already have, and Deep Research.
You will also get a one-off note the first time you put an upcoming event on the calendar, and one if your garage reaches your plan's car limit.
At most one of these arrives on any given day, and the series stops on its own after two weeks. Turning off Getting-started emails ends it immediately.
Weekly summary
Every Monday, a recap of what is on the books and what moved: track days and events coming up, service logged, what you spent, and anything waiting for your attention.
Email is not arriving
- Check the switch for that kind in Settings, and confirm it is on.
- Check spam or promotions, and mark TrackOut as not spam so later email lands in the inbox.
- Confirm the address on your account is the one you are checking.
- If you used an Unsubscribe link before, the matching switch is off -- turn it back on in Settings.
Weather forecasts only send when you have an upcoming track day with a track set, and readiness checks only send for events with a car attached.
