Car notes
Capture setup thoughts, reminders, and garage context as notes on each car. Notes live on the car’s Notes tab and on the global Notes page in the sidebar.
Where to find notes
- Car detail — open a car and choose the Notes tab.
- Sidebar — Notes opens every note across your garage, most recently edited first.
Creating and editing
- Click Add note.
- Give it a title (or leave untitled).
- Pick a sticky color chip so related notes stand out on the board.
- Write the body in markdown.
- Save.
Open any card to edit, preview, or delete it.
Formatting shortcuts
In the note body, use Cmd/Ctrl+B for bold, Cmd/Ctrl+I for italic, Cmd/Ctrl+K for a link, and Cmd/Ctrl+L for a list. The toolbar buttons do the same.
@mentions
Type @ while editing to mention a part or another car. Mentions become clickable chips in the note so you can jump straight to that part or car.
Search
Use the search box on the Notes tab or the global Notes page to find notes by title or body text. On the global page you can also filter by car.
